St Andrew Cricket Club

 

Welcome to St Andrews Cricket Club

St Andrews, a SCB Focus Club, was formed in 1922 and has played at its current ground, Sydney West Fields since 1923.

We welcome new members of all ages and ability. We pride ourselves as being a friendly but ambitious club. The Application Form to join St Andrews Cricket Club can be viewed and downloaded by clicking here.

The club has ECB ClubMark accreditation which confirms our commitment to a safe child friendly junior section. Details about Clubmark and how it relates to St Andrews CC can be found by clicking here.

The Club has a library of documents covering a wide range of subjects from the constitution, code of conduct, registration forms, policies & procedures, these can be found by clicking here, please use this as your first port of call when in need to view or print a document.

The club is a registered Community Amateur Sports Club. Registration number CASC 00315. Charity Reference CH00601.

Club Night every Friday evening during the season at Sydney West Fields for all members to come along for coaching, nets and meet socially, refreshments available.

The Saturday First XI play in Division 2 (1st XI) of the West Sussex Invitation Cricket League in 2009 and the Saturday Second XI play in Division 2 (2nd XI).

The St Andrew Bears, the Club's third Saturday side, play in the Mid Sussex Cricket League, Division 3, while St Andrews Cubs, the Club's fourth Saturday side, play in the Stoner Conference.

The Sunday Club XI plays friendies against other local teams. Additional Sunday games are arranged when there is sufficient players available.

Two teams plays in the Mid Sussex Indoor Cricket League at the Haywards Heath Dolphin Centre and the Burgess Hill Triangle Sports Centre on Sunday nights during the winter months.

The club has a strong colts section, sponsored by John Farrall Building Contractor Ltd, with seven teams in the SCB Youth League (U9, U10, U11, U12 U13, and two teams at U14) and a combined U15 team with Burgess Hill CC in the North & Mid Sussex League, they also play friendly matches when ever possible. Outdoor coaching for the colts section are held on Friday evenings during the summer at Sydney West Fields. Winter coaching and indoor nets take place at Plumpton College and The Triangle during January thru April.

During July the Club holds its annual Colts Day and in August its Presidents Day which are highly successful and a great way for everyone associated with the Club to get together and enjoy themselves in a relaxed and friendy atmosphere.
